The Irish Era of Pirate Radio is the story of the greatest ever creativity in english language broadcasting, and it came from Ireland, as recorded and produced by Miles Johnston, who created the Bases Project a decade later.
Radio Caroline had to be created in 1963, so a few records could be played on the radio, as Cabal controlled broadcasting, restricted popular music and 'free' radio..
In the late 70's the Dublin pirates took hold, and a whole new era of Irish Radio began.
